Have you heard the good news? BASI Pilates’ Rael Isacowitz has returned to teaching at On Center Conditioning. The studio has been filled with his charm and energy as well as a new excitement. This week’s featured workout starts on the Mat, continues to Wunda Chair with the finale on the Avalon Arm Chair. Staff favorites are the Bicycle, Side Lift and Back Extension (Avalon Arm Chair).

Another Great New Workout is Available Online

Members of the BASI family can be found anywhere in the world. Julie was a BASI Pilates host in Texas and is now living the good life in Singapore. Follow her story on the BASI Blog, of which she is a regular contributor. In the meantime, her favorite workout is featured this week. For a change, she added Arms Series Supine followed by Long Back Stretch and Hamstring Curl. The workout has a nice flow and opportunities to get more hamstring and gluteal work in the process.

Another New Workout is Up!

Multi Apparatus Program

We may be in the heat of summer but this workout is bound to make you sweat in any season. A multi apparatus workout featuring exercises like the “Double Leg” and “Double Leg with Rotation” as well as the “Reverse Knee Stretch” on the Reformer. The program continues with arm work on the Ped-A-Pul, “Frog Front” on the Wunda Chair and finishing on the Ladder Barrel. A well rounded program to with a nice variety of exercises.

New Workout Online!

Happy Friday the 13th! This week we are sharing the Wunda Chair Program that is featured on our Wunda Chair DVD. Rael starts the session with the “Standing Pike” as always using the principle of BASI Flow, this workout moves you through some challenging like the “Calf Raise” and “Full Pike”. My favorite is the back-to-back exercises for the triceps, “Triceps Press Sit” and “Triceps Prone”.

New Workout! Intermediate Program

Joleen is currently teaching a Comprehensive Course in Maroochydore and wanted to share a workout utilizing the Wunda Chair and Reformer. The “Standing Pike Reverse” feels so good and preps you for the “Cat Stretch”. Staff favorites were the “Rowing Series” and “Hamstring Curl” on the Reformer.

New Workout! Group Reformer Intermediate Session from BASI Pilates.

Rael may be on his way to Athens to teach the first BASI Mentor Program in Greece this weekend, but he found time in his schedule to compile an intermediate reformer workout for you! This workout consists of many intermediate level exercises. Bottom Lift and Bottom with Extensions are nice additions any time of the year. PI Staff favorites include the Single Leg Skating and Side Splits.

BASI Pilates Module 6 Mat Class is Now Available
